Neal Peck Obituary

Neal Stuart Peck, 57, passed away unexpectedly December 25, 2025. He was born June 6, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Robert and Marcia Peck.

Neal met the love of his life, Samantha, in Breckenridge Colorado, where they spent several happy years building a life together before making their way to Michigan. Neal had a deep love for the great outdoors and found joy in kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking, always taking time to appreciate the quiet wonders of nature. He had a great sense of humor. Music was equally close to his heart. A gifted guitarist, Neal filled their home with a constant hum or melody, his guitar rarely far from reach. He made countless recordings, likely numbering in the thousands, and loved sharing his music with others, using it as a true language of love and connection.

Neal is survived by: his life partner of 17 years, Samantha Anderson; brother, Dr. Lee (Aileen) Peck; best friend Mike Gibson; and brother-in-law/close friend, Chris (Alaina) Hornbrook.

In accordance with Neal's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held amongst his loved ones.
