85, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Sulmona, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Fiorino and Maria (Susi) Susi. Lisa was a hairdresser and the owner of Mademoiselle Beauty Salon in Coventry for many years. After hairdressing, she was a sales representative for Revlon and worked for Foxwoods Casino. She enjoyed traveling, her daily walks, and spending time with her friends and family.
Lisa is survived by her loving son John Barbieri and his companion Dora Charboneau of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael Simpson. Sister of Maria Davia and her husband Gino, Franca DiGregorio and her husband the late Jack DiGregorio, Vivian Verardo and her husband Anthony, all of Johnston. She was predeceased by her two brothers Frank and Peter Susi. Lisa was also the sister-in-law of Maryann Susi of Coventry. Beloved godmother of Tina Bessette and adored aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Johnston. Entombment will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday morning from 8:00-9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, http://www.kidneyfund.org.
