Larry Strickland Obituary
Mr. Larry Claxton Strickland, age 64, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. A Memorial Service will be 2:00PM-Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Strickland was born on September 29, 1961 in Johnston County, NC to the late Leamon Claxton and Peggy Lou Thornton Strickland. Mr. Strickland was a maintenance supervisor at Morganite in Dunn, NC and ended his career as a controls technician with Automatic Rolls of North Carolina. He enjoyed working with his hands.
Survivors include his sons, Ben Strickland, and Tyler Strickland; grandchildren, Elizabeth Strickland, Blake Strickland, and Thomas Strickland; sister, Lou Jean Manning and husband, Mitchell; niece, Melissa Merrell, and nephew, Mitchell Wayne Manning, Jr.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
