Kim M. Capone, age 52, wife of the late Sergio Capone, of
Gilbertsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 24, 1973 in
West Islip, NY, she was the amazing daughter of Joyce Martorano of

Kim was a graduate of Lindenhurst High School on Long Island in New York. She went on to continue her education at the Katharine Gibbs School in
Melville, NY. She held several office managerial positions throughout her career, including most recently at Jane Baron's Academy of Dance in

With her outgoing and energizing spirit, Kim was known as a beloved friend who always made herself available to lend a helping hand or to offer a listening ear. She found joy in hosting parties, taking family trips, and most especially spending time near the water, including in
Myrtle Beach, SC or in her own backyard pool oasis. Fond of her body art, Kim proudly displayed her tattoos. She enjoyed baking and cooking and was famous for her tiramisu cheesecake and chicken cutlets.
Most of all, Kim was a phenomenal and loving mother. Her children were the center of her universe, and her love for them was boundless.
In addition to her parents, Kim is survived by two children, Taylor Laine Capone and Domenico Angelo Capone II; one brother, Thomas Martorano; one step-brother, Jacob Land; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Salvatore Martorano.
