Kathleen Ann Quinn lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born November 24, 1952 in Erie, PA the fifth of seven children born to the late Bernard Francis and Jean Ann (Jacobs) Quinn.

Kathy was a graduate of St Andrew’s Grade School & Mercyhurst Preparatory School Class of 1970. She attended John Carroll University, and lived many years in Denver, CO before returning to Erie permanently in 1993. She retired from Erie Insurance after enjoying 25 years as an Employee Benefits Specialist. Kathy was passionate about giving to others as a hospice volunteer for seven years in Denver as well as serving for 19 years as President and/or Board member at the Mercy Center for Women in Erie.

Kathy had a kind and generous heart. She also had quick wit, and was known to be the most fun-loving of any group! Kathy had a discerning eye for decorating and fashion, and enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, and studying history!

In addition to her many friends and past colleagues, Kathy will be greatly missed by her siblings and their families: Frank Quinn (Nancy), Sarasota FL, Robert Quinn, Levittown, PA, Mary Helen Albright (Lucas), Chicago IL, Patrick Quinn, Levittown, PA, Jeanne Lillis (Gary), Erie, PA, and Sarah Quinn (Charles LeBron), Chicago, IL. Kathleen is also survived by her beloved Auntie Marge Greenhalge, Sun City, AZ, many nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews. She was especially close to nephews Mark Gronek (Godson), Downers Grove IL and Steve Quinn, Erie PA, as well as many cousins from the Quinn, Scolio, Buseck, Dwyer, Weschler, Jacobs, and Greenhalge families.

Family and friends are invited to call at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1116 W. 7th St. on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at which time a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Private inurnment will be in Calvary Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Center for Women,1039 E. 27th Street, Erie, PA 16504.

Kathleen's family would like to thank Dr. Jan Rothman & Team from Hillman Cancer Center, LECOM Hospice Team & Visiting Nurses Association of Erie for all their compassion and loving care.
