Karl Pinkerton Obituary

Karl Lance Pinkerton, age 65, of Cardington, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at his home.
Lance was born on July 18, 1960, in Marietta, Ohio to Carl W. Pinkerton and Kathy S. Taylor.
Lance grew up in Morrow County. He was a proud 1979 graduate of Highland High School.
He worked for the Weyerhauser Company until his retirement. He loved to garden and always had
fresh produce for his family and friends. Lance was always willing to help anyone. He would give you
his last dime. Lance was a giving soul, his motto was "lived to give."
He is survived by his mother, Kathy S. Taylor of Centerburg, OH; his siblings, Terry Ann Wright (Harold)
of Grain Valley, MO, Richard Lee Pinkerton (Twila) of Marengo, OH, Woody Pinkerton (Belinda) of
Centerburg, OH and Besty Dawn Smith (Tim) of Marengo, OH along with several other family members.
Lance was preceded in death by his father, Carl W. Pinkerton and his sister, Tonya Lynn O'Quin.
Following Lance's wish, there will be no services.
