Judy Hauskins, age 83 of Hartsville, Tennessee passed away on January 27, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1942 in Hendersonville, Tennessee to the late James and Mary Elizabeth Tillman. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of faith, compassion, and kindness that touched the lives of many throughout her years.
She graduated from Hendersonville High School.
Judy attended the Church of God, where her love for Jesus was evident in her actions and prayers. She dedicated much of her time to praying for those around her, offering unwavering support and love to everyone she encountered. Her faith was a guiding light that illuminated her path and inspired others.
Among her many interests, Judy found great joy in cooking. She not only enjoyed preparing meals but also loved cooking for others and taking food to others.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Carol Moon.
Judy is survived by her spouse of 10 years, Howard Hauskins; son, Brent Lackey (Sharon); stepchildren, Mark Lackey and Jennifer Durham (Chad); grandchildren, Whitney Lackey, Stephen Moon, Hunter Lackey, Daniel Satterfield, Kiley Durham, Brady Durham, and Mailee Durham; and great-grandchildren, Toby Moon, Owen Cato, Scarlett Durham, Theo Durham.
Visitation for Ms. Judy will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 11 am until 1 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). A graveside service will begin at 1 pm at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Set Free Recovery, INC.
