Joe Higgins Obituary
Thomas Joseph Higgins, aged 64, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Born in London, Kentucky on September 13, 1961.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Thomas Higgins, and his mother, Laura Faye Higgins. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Linda M. Higgins, as well as his daughter, Bethany (David) Combs; son, Brett (Amanda) Higgins; step-daughters, Hannah C.C. (Tom) Domino, Leah (Travis) Combs, and Emma (Michael) Wells; grandchildren, Parker Senter, Paisley Combs, Lily Higgins, and Lincoln Higgins; brothers, Brian (Tammy) Higgins and Wes Higgins; along with a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Joe was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about football and basketball. He was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the University of Kentucky. He had a deep love for music and enjoyed sharing outdoor adventures with his loved ones. Above all, he cherished his time with his wife Linda, his children, grandchildren, and friends. A good steak dinner was among his favorite pleasures in life.
In loving memory of Joe, contributions may be made to Community Family Church in Independence, KY.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 7, 2026 at Paragon Mill Wheelhouse, 2451 Paragon Mill Drive, Burlington, KY 41005 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
