Jean M. Lindberg, 88, Kewaunee, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She was born in Palmer, Michigan on September 28, 1937, to the late Clarence and Lila Goldsworthy. She married George “Dave” Lindberg on October 10, 1959, in Ironwood, Michigan. They were married for 54 years.
Throughout her life, Jean formed many deep and lasting friendships. Affectionately known as “Momma Jean”, her constant smile always made people feel welcome. Jean’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment with them, especially the memorable trips to Florida.
Jean is survived by her children Jan (Dan Mastalir) Lindberg, Kewaunee, Karen (Steve Kropp) Lindberg, Green Bay; daughter-in-law Tracy Lindberg, St. Charles, MO; significant other Roger “Jake” Jacobs; grandchildren Hannah (Josh) Ring, Holly (Abe) Schrump, Halle Petta, and Lilli Petta; step grandchildren Carrie, Samantha, Jenna; great grandchildren Jackson, Greyson, Audrey, Scarlett, Emma; step great grandchildren Axel and Oliver; brother Allen Goldsworthy; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband George D. Lindberg; her parents Clarence and Lila Goldsworthy; son David Lindberg; and brother Thomas Goldsworthy.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 4:00 pm at The Uptown Tavern - Kewaunee. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com
