Gloria Butler Obituary
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Mt Enon Cemetery.
Born September 13, 1961 in Bainbridge, GA, Mrs. Butler was the daughter of the late Ernest Lamar "Pete" Batchelor and JoAnn West Batchelor. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert "Robbie" Harroll Butler, Jr., a brother, Wallace Batchelor, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert "Red" Butler and Helen Butler. She was a graduate of Albany Technical College, Class of 2008, receiving her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She worked for many years at Palmyra Nursing Home and Diversified Resources of Camilla and loved her patients as her children. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her world.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Harroll Butler, Sr. of Baconton; son, Jamie Butler (McKensey) of Blakely; step-daughter, Shanna Boyer of Camilla; sister, Sharon Brooks; brothers, Lamar Batchelor and Gary Batchelor; 4 grandchildren, Tabitha Boyer, Thomas Boyer, Isabella Barber, and Emmajames Simpson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
