Gerald “Gerry” Trzebiatowski, 75 of Rosholt, died on Monday, January 19, 2026. Gerry was born on September 12, 1950 to the late Henry Sr. and Regina (Gilmeister) Trzebiatowski.
Gerry grew up on the family potato/dairy farm alongside his sister and 4 brothers, and attended St. Adalbert’s Elementary School, Rosholt High School, and Northcentral Technical College with a degree in mechanical engineering. He married Barbara Yenter on June 10, 1972 at St. Adalbert’s Church. They were married 53 and a half years and raised 5 wonderful children; Joe, Tim, Julie, Tina, and Laura.
He spent early years working at Wausau Motor Parts, Marathon Electric, Metalist Industries, and Conners (Kitchen Cabinets) before purchasing the Alban Store in Rosholt. He and Barb owned and operated the store for 7 years before working for Piggly Wiggly in Park Ridge as a meat cutter. In 1989 he became the Director of Buildings and Grounds of the Rosholt School District, where he retired in 2017 after 28 years.
Gerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, playing softball, cutting wood, rebuilding small engines, and gardening. He and Barb also took great pride in cheering on their children and grandchildren at all the sporting events and extracurriculars they participated in.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Yenter) Rosholt, 2 sons; Joe (Tammy) of Rosholt and Tim (Jolene) of Custer, 3 daughters; Julie (Scott) Nelson of Peshtigo, Tina (Jeremy) Mills of Waupaca, and Laura (John) Bablitch of Rosholt, 1 sister; Rose, 3 brothers; Don, Mike, and Eugene (Marian), one sister-in-law Marlene, one brother-in-law Florian Yenter, and 12 grandchildren; Jenna, Sydney, Isabelle, Sam, Nick, Andrew, Rachel, Henry, Elena, Logan, Sophia, and Evelyn.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, his in-laws (Leo and Angeline Yenter), one brother Henry Jr., 5 brothers-in-law Tom Kampschroer, Hilary Yenter, Jerry Kluck, Bob Glodowski, Dave Kieliszewski, six sisters-in-law Betty Yenter, Loretta Kluck, Ruth Yenter, Rita Kieliszewski, Jeanette Glodowski, and Linda Trzebiatowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday January 22, 2026 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church- 3315 St. Adalberts Road, Rosholt. Father Francis Dias to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow mass in the parish cemetery.
