It is with deep sorrow. We announced the passing of Frank Edward Queen, who left us on January 24, 2026, at his home in Edgewater Florida after bravely battling a long-term illness. Frank was born on January 1, 1950, in
Logan, West Virginia to Larry Queen and Tomalene Queen, both who proceed him in death.
Frank's life spends nearly 76 remarkable years filled with love friendship and dedication to his community. He is survived by his longtime friend and partner of 53 years Jerry Thomas Bartram formally of Lenore, West Virginia. Their bond was a statement of the power and friendship, enduring through decades of shared experiences and unwavering support and love. Frank also leaves behind his beloved sister Joy Lynn Queen Wiacek, and his best bud Terry Wiacek and his cherished niece Alyson Lynn Wilkes and his nephew, Jonathan Wiacek and his beautiful great niece Mackenzie, all residing in Michigan. He was a proud of his family and held them, dear to his heart an along with numerous relatives from
Logan, West Virginia will continue to be cherished in his heart and memory.
Frank began his professional career as a sales and catering manager for Holiday Inn in Huntington, West Virginia, where he was able to showcase his passion for hospitality. Frank also opened the Galleria in Logan West Virginia, where he used his talent as a florist, gift shop and hair salon. After he sold that he opened up a similar business in Huntington, West Virginia called the Park Place, and he was also the owner of an elite nightclub where he was able to spread lots of love and friendship to his patrons.
He finally moved to Edgewater Florida, where he lived until he died. Frank extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassion of the staff of Vitas Hospice in New Smyrna Beach and his longtime Doctor, Frederick, Herdel and staff and for years of dedication of service. Frank also wants to thank the friends that stood by him throughout his life... Helena Tomlin, love you, Dr. Kathy Fortner, Jerome, D'Angelo Robert Summers, Jim, Blevins, Kathy and Steve GNEWKOSKI Natalie and Sophia Buskirk, he will always be thankful to you all.
Frank will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments, but also for his vibrant and spirit and kindness, and the profound impact he had on everyone he met his memory will live on forever, and the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, rest in peace, dear friend you will be missed, but never forgotten.
Entombment will take place on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens in
Edgewater, Florida.
