Ella May Kalivoda, born May 19, 1949, left this life on January 27, 2026, surrounded by members of her immediate family. Ella met her husband of 54 years, Mike Kalivoda, at Elm Skating Rink in 1968. Predeceased by Parents, Veda Maxine Watwood (Mother) Oather Doyle Watwood (Father), Philip Doyle Watwood (Brother). Survived by brothers Charles Wayne Thomas (Diane) Terry Lee Watwood (Kathy) and sister, Lois Ann (Rich LaMontagne). brother in law Tom Kalivoda. Avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Fan of NASCAR auto racing. Appreciated time with friends at O'Malley's Pub & Eatery. During her career, Ella enjoyed interacting with and serving customers at K-Mart, Kohls, and Jewel-Osco.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, February 2, from 4-7pm, at Dunn Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S. Douglas Rd, Oswego. Celebration of life to be held at a date to be determined. Memorial contributions in Ella's name may be given to Unity Hospice and Palliative Care.
