Ed Roesler, 84, Fargo, ND passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026 at Sanford on 23rd in Fargo.

Edward Delmus Roesler was born on March 15, 1941 to parents Orville & Irene (Suedel) Roesler on the family farm at rural Leonard, N.D. He attended Maple River Country School until 3rd grade, then continued his education in Leonard. In 1959, Edward married Zona Chrest at Bethel Moravian Church in Leonard. They resided in Bismarck before moving to Fargo in 1960. Zona passed away in 1994. On May 21, 1999, Ed married Jeanette Koenig Nelson in Fargo.

Ed was employed with John Morrell Meats for 30 years and then at Booth Delivery for 12 years upon which he retired. Following retirement, he worked part-time for W.W. Wallwork for 8 years. He especially enjoyed spending time in the summer at Buffalo Lake in Minnesota where he liked to fish.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; two sons, Scott (Lori) and Barry (Brenda); grandchildren, Courtnie Roesler (Zach Laude), Kelsey Roesler (Jeremy Holm) and Judd (Kelsey) Roesler; great grandchildren, Avree Roesler and Kasen Holm; two siblings, Ruby Ellwein and Dennis "Rick" (Deb) Roesler; adopted family, Jim "Julius" (Karen) Offermann and children, Erin and Rylee; sister-in-law, Mrs. Neil (Marlene) Wiltse and several nieces and nephews.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, wife Zona; son Tyler; and siblings, Phyllis (Dick) Taylor and LD Roesler; brothers-in-law, Orville Ellwin and Neil Wiltse; and step grandchildren, Jesse and Jordan Simon.

Funeral: Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 at 11 AM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Moorhead Memorial Gardens.
