Donna Jean Schroeder

June 30, 1939 - January 24, 2026

Donna Jean Schroeder, 86, of Onalaska, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Sparta, Wis., on June 30, 1939 to David and Jean (Lower) Crocker, Sr. She married Roger Schroeder on February 9, 1959 in Norwalk, Wis. Donna was a "Farmer's Valley girl." She loved her family, horses, birds, flowers, gardening and Elvis. She also loved decorating for the holidays. Donna had worked for several years at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Roger; seven children: Debbie (Duane) Westlie, Mark (Julie) Schroeder, Dan (Bonita) Schroeder, Jeff (Pam) Schroeder, Lynn (Carl) McKeeth, Lori (Dan) Kippola, and Michelle (Loren) Schwier; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon (Jerry) Dockerty; brother-in-law, Jerry Schroeder; and sister-in-law, Donna Mae (Gary) Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Onalaska American Legion, 731 Sand Lake Road.
