CYNTHIA ALBRECHT Obituary

Cynthia Ann Albrecht, age 74, of Euclid, Ohio passed away on January 24, 2026.

Born on July 6, 1951, in Bay Village, Ohio, to William and Jane Albrecht, Cynthia was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and Euclid. She was a graduate of Villa Angela Academy (1968) and St. John's College (1972), after which she worked as a registered nurse for 40 years, spending most of her career in coronary care at Hillcrest Hospital.

She shares her son, Michael, with the late Michael Korte, who passed away before his birth, but to whose family she remained close. She shares her son, Nicholas with James Cambell, to whom she was briefly married.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jane Albrecht; her sister, Kathy Albrecht Ryser and her brother-in-law, Marc Ryser.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Albrecht (Dawn McCoy) and Nicholas Albrecht; her siblings, Tom Albrecht, John (Dolores) Albrecht, Agnes (David) Grein, and Janice (Gary) Palof; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and the Korte family of Massachusetts.

Cynthia's life was guided by her Catholic faith. She enjoyed traveling, dining out, and reading a good book. She cherished her role as a mother and aunt and treasured time spent with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday January 31, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Ss. Robert & William Parish, 367 East 260 St. in Euclid. Burial will take place at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland. The family will receive friends at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby on Friday from 4-7 PM.
