Teresa Fricke’s faith in God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ became sight on Jan. 24, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Chapel, 1600 Rte. 291, Liberty, MO, on Thursday, Jan. 29th at 4 p.m.

Teresa, the loving daughter of Benjamin and Arlene Fricke of rural David City, NE, was born May 12, 1956, the third of six children. She graduated from Aquinas High School in David City in 1974, then attended Platte College in Columbus, NE, and Patricia Stevens Career College in Omaha, NE. Following her early training, Teresa worked as an Interior Designer in Seward and Lincoln, NE, and Phoenix, AZ.

In the early 1990’s, Teresa moved to Kansas City, MO, and held many different positions. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from MidAmerica Nazarene University and her Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Calvary University, both in Kansas City.

Teresa accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in the early 1990’s, and He was her anchor and light for the rest of her life. She had spent the last eleven years as a Biblical Counselor being certified as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor, SATOP Qualified Professional, and was a member of the Internal Association. of Biblical Counselors. Teresa permeated herself in God’s Word so that His Word flowed from her heart to others.

Preceding Teresa in death were her parents and her sister and brother-in-law Jean (Fricke) and Ben Syring. She is survived by sister JoAnn (John) Messing of Shelby, NE, sister Marcia (Larry) Dittfurth of College Station, TX, brother Dan (Darcee) Fricke of Lincoln, NE, and sister Mary (Matt) Parker of Harrison, NE, many nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Bible Study friends and Marketplace Chaplain co-workers.
