In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to Coborn's Cancer Center in memory of Marie.

Born on October 20, 1938, in Little Falls, Marie was the youngest of eleven children born to the late Henry and Mary (Slinger) Schneider. She grew up in Swan River Township, Morrison County, and graduated from Little Falls Community High School. On September 30, 1957, Marie united in marriage with Mark Zehowski at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Elmdale. The couple eventually settled in Swan River Township, where they resided for 68 years and were blessed with six children: Gary, Ronald, Renae, Lois, Ernie, and Donald.

She was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where she participated in the social group. Throughout her life, Marie engaged in various hobbies including puzzles, sewing, gardening, canning, baking, landscaping, dancing, and raising purple martins. Her nurturing spirit and love for her family will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Marie is survived by her husband Mark; her children Gary (Kim) Zehowski, Ronald (Amelia) Zehowski, Rena' (Roger) Lashinski, Lois (Dan) Waytashek, Ernie (Lori) Zehowski, and Donald (Jackie) Zehowski; along with 24 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, all affectionately known as "grandma." The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Coborn's Cancer Center and Dr. Hani Alkhatib for the exceptional care provided to Marie over the past 15 years.
