It was always a gift to spend time with Nancy. She taught me so much about having zeal and gratitude for life and all that makes it rich. I will always treasure my memories of our time together. I am holding you, Nancy´s beloved family, close to my heart as you mourn her passing. I am sure she is feeding all the raccoons in heaven.

Nancy. You are so loved and missed. I cherish the memories of getting to know you through Dr.B's office. Our shared love of animals, and my loving on Maggie while you were adjusted was the beginning of our friendship. I always enjoyed going to concerts and music venues with you, or just walking through your incredible hydrangea gardens, talking to Maggie and the kitties, our dancing it up at a local venue. Your love for God, nature, and people was contagious. You were a light here and I have no doubt your light continues to shine bright in heaven. Until we meet again.

Aunt Nancy, you were the greatest aunt anyone could ever have. When we were kids you always made sure we had plenty of fun in our lives. Season passes to Busch Gardens every year, trips to Virginia Beach, drop-offs at the pools at the Elk's Club and other places. Countless trips to the theater to catch the latest movies. Just hanging out with us with all the ducks and geese and cats right outside our front door at what seemed to be our own personal lake. You and mom were the closest of sisters and it showed every day. You and dad were close friends as well. All of us playing basketball in the court that he built in the common area of the townhouses. So many gatherings at grandma and grandad's with endless bowls of ice cream, fresh and delicious vegetables from grandma's garden, badminton and croquet in that small back yard that we all cherished so much. So many memories, so many good times. When you all moved into your own townhouse down the road, it was always wonderful to visit because you had better cereal and a more relaxed living room for TV with that giant spool. When I think of you, I still feel like that kid inside who wanted time to stand still and for nothing to ever change. I will miss you always. You and your love are in my heart every day.

Nancy was flat-out a beautiful Christian. I was honored to be her pastor and her friend. "I talk to God all the time!" she said frequently. I could tell.

Nancy came to Good Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church when she was living in Nortonsville. She served on the vestry at Good Shepherd. We became friends and saw each other occasionally after she moved to Earlysville.
