Karen Jo Connors, nee Galluzzi, age 64, a Naperville, IL resident since 1986, formerly of Chicago, Westchester and Villa Park, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her home. She was born May 12, 1957 to her loving late parents, Richard and Jennie Galluzzi. Cherished wife of the late Richard F. Connors, whom she married August 4, 1979. Beloved mother of Brian Michael (Tiffany) Connors, Daniel John (Martha Merz) Connors and Kevin James (Jessica) Connors. Adored Nani of Quinn, Dominic, Will, Rosie, and Henry. Dearest sister of Richard (Marie) Galluzzi, II, and Laura (Bill) DeNatale. Loving partner and companion to Michael Bracco. Karen grew up in Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood before moving to Westchester at the age of 10. She was a 1975 graduate of Proviso West High School and then started a successful career in the financial industry prior to raising her family. She returned to business over the past decade and was formerly of 1st Chicago Bank, Morgan Stanley, J.P Morgan Chase, and BMO Harris. Karen found joy in spending time with her growing family, cooking for others, and watching the Cubs and Blackhawks. She will be remembered for her grace, wisdom, strength, generosity, and infectious smile. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: OCRA (Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance). Visitation Monday, May 24th 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, May 25th 10:30 AM at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville, IL 60540. Entombment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
