Age 80, Army Veteran, beloved son of the late Henry and Laura (nee Braasch) Klaus; dearest brother of Barbara (Donald Sr.) Pointer and the late Robert, Thomas Klaus, Phyllis Viita and Dorothy Jeffrey; dear uncle of Joyce (Donald) Emerson, Nancy Rejholec, Rowdy Rejholec, Stephanie Viita, Donald Jr. (Nora) Pointer, Beth (Michael) Lindley and many great-nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 PM. Service Saturday 10:00 AM at Lawn Funeral Home 7909 State Road (5500 W) Burbank, IL 60459. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Cemetery. Graduate of Lindbloom, Michigan State and Rutgers. Retired english and guidance counselor at Hubbard High School. President of Chicago Lawn Historical Society. Member of LaGrange YMCA for over 55 years and Retired Teachers Association of Chicago. Jack was an avid basketball fan. Funeral Info: 708-636-2320
