Guadalupe Arguelles, Jr.

July 23, 1962 – January 14, 2026

Beloved son, brother, uncle, dad and grandfather, Guadalupe Arguelles Jr., age 63, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Guadalupe was born on July 23, 1962 in Lansing, Michigan to Guadalupe Arguelles Sr. and Guadalupe C. Arguelles. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Arguelles Sr. 

Guadalupe is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his mother, Guadalupe C. Arguelles; his daughter, Denise Arguelles and four granddaughters; five sisters, Virginia (Ernesto) Salinas, Cynthia (Daniel)Fuerte, Doralee (Armando) Chavez, Blanca Sanchez, and Veronica (Javier) Rios, and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart from Trinity Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2026 to St. Helen's Catholic Church in Rio Hondo for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at approximately 11 a.m. at Alvarez Cemetery in Harlingen, Texas located on Godwin Rd.
