Patricia Bradley Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Bradley, age 91, of Russellville, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at UAMS/Little Rock.

She was born on Sept. 13, 1934, in Golden Meadow, Louisiana to James Preston and Dorrothie Adcock Huckabay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Huckabay and the love of her life for 65 years, Wayne Bradley, Sr.

Mrs. Bradley was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Russellville for almost 60 years.

She was the epitome of a registered nurse, having received her nursing degree from Arkansas Baptist School of Nursing. Following graduation, Pat devoted 35 plus years of her life in service as a registered nurse, serving most of those years at Dardanelle Hospital. She was willing to assist in every area of nursing including the medical/surgical unit, served as charge nurse, labor and delivery, surgery, and the emergency department. She was always willing to serve in whatever capacity she was needed with a cheerful heart and a warm, caring attitude. Her love and call to nursing continued throughout her lifetime, often called upon to help her family and others with her trusted wisdom and calming nature.

Spending time with family was her life's biggest joy. Whether taking family vacations, spending time at their cabin in the Ozark mountains, or going trout fishing on the White River, Pat was always up for planning and organizing these fun times for her family. Although small in stature, Pat truly was a pillar of strength and the rock of her family and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is a brother, Dan Huckabay, and his wife Margie; two sons, Wendell Wayne Bradley, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Pottsville and Jonathan Shell Bradley and His wife, Pam of Atkins. Patricia was blessed with five grandchildren Shelly Day and husband, Dalton of Russellville, Shana Chisum and husband, Cory of Pottsville, Cory Wright and wife, Brooke of Pottsville, Sarah Schluterman of Scranton, and Rachel Stanek and husband, Drew of Hector. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren, Axton, Ayris, and Altar Wright, Aspen and Annie Schluterman, Knoxx and Norah Stanek, Jaxon Chisum and Hattie Layne Day; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Russellville with the Rev. Greg Sykes, Rev. Mike Cloud and Rev. Keith Shipley officiating. A private burial will be in Ozone Cemetery by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Bob Helton, Mike Branum, Kim Mortenson, Tony Sherrill, Travis Warren, and Bobby Crow.

The family received friends Tuesday evening, February 3 at the funeral home.
