Margaret F. Konigsfeld of Naperville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Marge was born on January 21, 1932, the middle child of Edward and Mary (nee Dubsky) Filip of Berwyn, IL. Marge and her beloved husband, Richard "Dick" Konigsfeld, were married for over 59 years. Mother of Kathy (Craig) Merrill, Mike (Jacky) Konigsfeld, Jim Konigsfeld, and Mary (Mark) Wejrowski. Grandma of Jamie and Peter Konigsfeld, Brian Merrill, and Matthew and Brandon Wejrowski. Sister of Nancy Filip and the late Marie Filip. Aunt, cousin, and lifelong friend to many. Marge attended Nazareth Academy and worked at the family business, the Joseph Filip Lumber Company. Marge attended Northwestern University studying Business Accounting. She worked full time as a bookkeeper with the Chicago Chamber of Commerce and Heil Chicago in McCook, IL. After her marriage, Marge devoted her life to making a home for her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Bohemian National Cemetery, or The Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Visitation: Monday, March 20th 9:00-10:30 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, March 20th 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth Street, Naperville, IL 60540. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
