Louis J. Marovitch, Jr., 92, of Forest Park formerly of Cicero. Veteran of U.S. Army . Beloved husband of the late Jeanette, nee Ruth. Loving father of Helen (Dennis) Krawzak, Louis J. III (Carolyn), Louise (the late John) Strunewitz, Joseph (Jody), Ann (Brian Myers) Seay and Mark Marovitch. Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Caroline, Becky, Debra, Daniel, Steven, Kathryn, Paul Joshua and Kimberly. Great grandfather of Melanie, Justin, William, Miley, Hugo and Alex. Cherished friend and companion of Brenda McKee. Dear son of the late Louis Marovitch, Sr. and Mary Ursula Kolka Marovitch. Louis was the last survivor of his siblings the late Joseph (Marcy) Marovitch, Irene (Roman) Kujawa, Antoinette ( Obron) Arsenijevich, Louise (Bozo) Drazan and Anna (George) Kalec. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Louis was a long time educator of science at Morton East High School in Cicero, Illinois. He was very proud of his Croatian heritage and a member of various Croatian Societies.

I´m very sorry to learn of his passing. I spoke with him once, but sadly never met him in person. He shared a lot of family history with me.
