William Stamps Obituary

William Roland Stamps, Jr., 59, passed away on June 25, after a long illness. He is the beloved husband of Barbara Ann (nee Machan); son of William Roland Stamps Sr. and Mary (nee Acred); brother of Sharon Starbuck; uncle of Tabitha Starbuck; great-uncle of Tyler and Jayden Starbuck. He was born in Humboldt, TN and lived most of his life in Illinois. He married Barbara Ann in 1987 and moved to Bolingbrook, Illinois in 1988, where he has lived since. He worked as a Support Analyst at R.R. Donnelly for 15 years and was a member of the Bolingbrook Amateur Radio Society and the Fox River Radio League. His hobbies were computers, electronics, cars, motorcycles and ham radios. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Bill was cremated by Bolingbrook McCauley Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, July 7, 2012, 12 p.m. at St. Dominic Parish in Bolingbrook. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to The American Diabetes Association.
