William Griswold Obituary

William H. Griswold II, 1-29-1950 to 2-22-20012, of Hinsdale, formerly of Elmhurst. Dear husband of Susan (nee Olszewski); loving and proud father of Eagle Scout, John David; beloved son of Meredith (nee Fischer) and the late William H. Griswold; special brother of the late John David Griswold; fond brother-in-law of Stan and the late Steven Olszewski; cousin to David (Teresa) Golden and Nancy (Terry) Bishop. For many years, a dedicated Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 177 (Elmhurst) and Camp DIrector for Potawatomi Trails District. Memorial Service will be held at Union Church of Hinsdale (137 South Garfield) on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Troop 117; The Bill Griswold Memorial Campership Fund, C/O John Fabry, 341 Cuyuga, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
