Marlene, I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow.

I met Bill in the 70's. He was a salesman for Tetko when he first called on my family's manufacturing business. We maintained a solid business relationship with Bill throughout the years no matter he worked for. But, most of all, for over 35 years I was proud to call him a friend. We spent countless hours discussing everything from politics to religion, business to sports and, as always, our families. Our conversation this past January touched on, among other things, wire cloth, the Cubs and the best vodka. I count myself as doubly blessed and saddened with his passing because I knew him on a professional as well as on a personal level.

Thank you, Bill, for your professionalism in business, your willingness to share your ideas about our world and above all your friendship. I will miss you and I will never forget how you touched and changed my life.

Bill was a wonderful person who was truly the essence of the Austin Kedzie Golf League. His personality was incredibly warm. As a new member, he was one of the first to welcome me, and over the years still welcomed me every week that we saw each other. My deepest condolences on your family's loss...you are in my prayers.

Over the years in the Austin- Kedzie golf league, Bill and I shared a number of memorable rounds of golf, and afterwards...........a quiet reflection of the mistakes we made over a snack at Dapper's on Lake St.
I'll miss our time together. My sympathies to the entire family.
