I worked for Bill at his business Service Hardware in the 1970s. He was a great man and a fabulous boss. I learned so much from him about life in general and business. I loved to have coffee with him and great conversation. I know he had a heart of gold, but always managed to keep his tough guy persona. He always had a great sense of humor and he included to assist with some of his pranks. I know he brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people.

Over my life I met a lot of people who helped and mentored me. I don´t think I would be were I am today if I hadn´t met Bill. So many great memories of us working together Bill had a lot friends and we´re all blessed by his loyal friendship. Bill, I will never forget you!

I was a youngster in Flint MI in early '60's when Bill drove from Chicago to deliver a tiny beagle puppy to me & my 2 sisters. He was a kind & generous man; my mother mentioned him and other extended family members frequently. My condolences to remaining family members.
