It's been a year since your last week with all of us. What an amazing final gift you gave. You were an example of strength, love, and faith right to the very end. You know how much we all still miss you and how different it is now that you're gone. Love you forever.

Grandma-
Here I am thinking this would be easier to do 6 months later, but I was wrong. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you terribly. I still hear your laugh and see your wonderful smile in my mind, but it's not quite the same. I have so much to say to you but Heaven does not have a phone. Great-grandchild #16's due date is fast approaching, but I can't help to be sad because you won't be here to enjoy her with us. Part of me knows that you helped send her to me to help me get through your loss and for that I am grateful! I know you are with Grandpa and the both of you are looking down on all of us, loving us, protecting us, and above all smiling down on the legacy that you both created.
