It's been a year since your last week with all of us. What an amazing final gift you gave. You were an example of strength, love, and faith right to the very end. You know how much we all still miss you and how different it is now that you're gone. Love you forever.

Grandma-
Here I am thinking this would be easier to do 6 months later, but I was wrong. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you terribly. I still hear your laugh and see your wonderful smile in my mind, but it's not quite the same. I have so much to say to you but Heaven does not have a phone. Great-grandchild #16's due date is fast approaching, but I can't help to be sad because you won't be here to enjoy her with us. Part of me knows that you helped send her to me to help me get through your loss and for that I am grateful! I know you are with Grandpa and the both of you are looking down on all of us, loving us, protecting us, and above all smiling down on the legacy that you both created. Loving and missing you both everyday, your Grand Daughter, Amy

Dear Grandma,
Maddie draws pictures of you in heaven. She still remembers you and your smile. You will always be treasured in my heart. At family gatherings, as your grandkids, the first thing was to find you and give you a kiss. Thank you for raising my dad- he is a great man and it was all thanks to you. I know I will be looking for you when my passing comes... I know you will be looking for me. Your Granddaughter, Nicky

Grandma. Your heart is filled with joy and now that joy is not spread by you but the people who had the glorious chance to experience it. I miss you dearly! Your smile shines brighter than the sun. Your voice has a special tune that when I hear it I think of a bird singing. You're always with me grandma. Filled with lots of love, your dear grandchild.

Dear Grandma,
I love and miss you very much! You were a caring and hardworking lady (caring for 11 children.) I will never forget you, I think about you always!
Love you always and forever

Daily I think of you. I long to hear your voice, but my call cannot be answered. I long to tell you of my day, my kids, my life, but these things you know even if I can't tell you myself. I talk to you in my prayers and you answer me in my dreams. I miss you. Happy Valentines Day Love! #8

Mom thank you for loving all eleven of us. You taught me how to be a better person in life and death. I miss you with all my heart and soul. I pray every day for your guidance to live my life with as much reverence as you did. Thank you for being my mother!!!
Your loving daughter Theresa.

Mom if one's mark on the world can be measured by thoses they touched and what they left behind, then it goes without saying you have left a profound and lasting mark. You taught us how to live, love, and embrace death when it came. Your strenghth, patience, and dedication have been a lesson for us all. I find peace knowing you are with Jesus, but struggle to fill the emptiness in my heart and soul now that you are gone. May the eleven of us carry but a small part of your love and kindness. Thank you for being our mom. #8
