Violet D. Zdon, nee Ciolkosz, 93 of Plainfield, longtime resident of North Riverside, IL. At peace October 27, 2008 at her home. Born August 17, 1915 in Chicago. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late John; loving mother of Barbara (Richard) William, Jeanette Hammond, Jack Zdon, Connie Baker and Denise (Jerry) Pippen; dear grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of two; fond sister of Harry Ciolkosz, Walter Ciolkosz and Patricia Krusec; aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, McKenzie Conn. Visitation was Sunday, November 2, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, November 3, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Rt. 59, Plainfield. Interment private.
