Bit of a shock to run across Ulla's Obit today. It was a long time ago but I can still here her laugh...she sure was fun.

I am so sorry that your mom has passed over. I am Scott's girlfriend Christine Sanchez and she was such a wonderful lady in a short time that i knew her. She always asked about my mom and how she was doing; My mom has recently passed over this last week. I am going to miss Ulla myself.

We're so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing...she was our neighbor for many years. She was the friendliest person and such an animal lover. She'll be missed.

Ulla was our adopted mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. All of our family feel the loss of Ulla as if our own natural blood relative had left us. Knowing her throughout these many years, we cannot think of anyone more devoted to her family and friends. Anyone who didn't love her, didn't know her as we do. She was the life of a party, the belle of the ball, and my (Connie's) favorite polka partner!! Her love of animals went far beyond the average. She tried to save every stray cat and could never say no to adopting a dog who may be left homeless. Thanks to her daughters, she was able to help many animals get to a no-kill shelter and hopefully be adopted. Our words cannot express our true sorrow in the loss of this wonderful woman, just know she will be missed and in our thoughts constantly. Our prayers go out to the family in this time of sorrow. Remember the many good times, for they will far outlive the bad.
