The King Family will always remember Timmy Murphy, our next door neighbor on 56th Court. Tim always had a smile on his face and a joke to share. My sincere sympathies to his family.

T I M M U R P Y --- I can remember the way you used to spell your name to everyone at about 5 yrs old, and who could ever forget your rendition of "Flamin Mamie" on one of the tables at Manny Perls for a Coke and bag of chips? I still blame you for pushing Teresa off the ladder in my yard onto me, I still have the scars. You were the master of nicknames for everybody (poor Dora), and Eddie was blamed for most things that you did by your dad because you had a way with words. The last time I saw you your car had a flat tire in front of my house (how convenient) and I was moving the bags of salt out of the trunk to get to your tire as you made me almost wet my pants telling me jokes. I could go on for days about you. You are the best.
There truly will only be one T I M M U R P H Y and he will be missed dearly.

Tim, what can I say? I'm just so sad to hear that you're gone. I have too many great memories of you to list here... you were one of a kind...they broke the mold. You're name has come up so often in our house and at family gatherings remembering the things you did to bring a smile to our faces. I can remember like yesterday, riding the bus to high school with you ( You to St. Joe's, me to IHM )You reciting the Our Father in Spanish ( A talent learned through punishment doled out by one of your teachers) Of course don't forget doing the hula with Rollo out in front of your house on 56th Ct., and I could go on and on.You were one of a kind, I'll miss you...Heaven's lucky to have you..My thoughts and prayers go out to your children and family and friends. Bye buddy......Love, Karen

Thanks for all the posts! You guys were all very good friends and it is really cool to see how everyone knew him. I know he had lots of friends and this is evidence of all the support he had through the years. It was really nice of you guys to contribute to this and I know my dad would appreciate it.

Murph, Dud's here. I can still remember seeing you running around the court at the Manor Wreck, all 3 foot nothing of ya. You were the one person that no matter what was happening that could make me laugh. You are going to be missed. Rest in peace. Your friend in this life and the next,

We met Tim through his son, Sean, whom is a very good friend of my son, Steven. Tim was a very easy man to talk to and laugh with! Sean has almost become like part of our family, our hearts are with you Sean, and your family. You know our door is always open and the tuna casserole ingredients ready to cook!
We love you sweetheart, and are extremely sorry for your loss.

I remember that same scrappy little boy beating me in Mrs. Reid's 4th grade class at OLC in a race. I only outweighed him by several pounds. I will really miss his great sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to his children and family.

I hadn't seen Tim in a while so in my mind he will always be that scrappy little guy with scuffed up knees running down 56th Court. Frankly, he was much too young to leave, but he's happy now and my prayers are with his family.

I feel like I a lost a member of my own family. Tim was the best and we always laughed together. The last thing I told him was that he was truly the best looking of all the Murphys because he and I always joked about that. He's happy now so I am happy for him and sad that we will miss him.
