Tom was born December 12, 1933 to William and Mary Allen, the oldest of nine children, and raised on a dairy farm in Canisteo, New York. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2013 to be closer to family. Tom had a deep and abiding faith throughout his whole life. He loved his family and was a true and loyal friend to so many. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy; his children, Tonia (Topper) Wilson, Darren (Ginger) Allen, Scott Allen, Todd (Natalie) Allen, Brian (Aida) Allen, Kristen Adams, David (Carrie) Van Daff, Lindsay (Jason) Kennedy, and Alison (Andrew) Thompson; grandchildren, Gavin and Rory Wilson, Lily Allen, Holly and Ashford Allen, Maria and Augie Botello, Nikolaas Allen, Kyle, Samantha, and Kaitlyn Adams, Tommy, Matthew, and Paige Van Daff, Reese, Graham, and Colin Kennedy, and Evan, Savannah, and Spencer Thompson; great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Savannah Botello; 2 brothers, 5 sisters and many other loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain you during this difficult time. (Isaiah 61:1,2). My prayers are with your family.

I always knew Tom as a warm, inclusive, thoughtful and funny member of our LTHS staff who made the day better for students and staff alike. We retired the same year in 1999 and clearly continued to make life better for everyone he knew, especially his wife and family. Tom will always be special in the memory of all who were fortunate enough to spend time with him. He continues to make me smile when his name comes to mind.

I keep remembering all the fun times and lunches we had at LTHS. Several faculty members called ourselves the "out-to-lunch" bunch and enjoyed Tom's witty remarks and stories he told of growing up in Canisteo, NY. Tom will be missed by all who knew him, especially the LTHS family.
