Teresa Burke (nee Kleidon) of Westmont passed away on June 13, 2021, 11 days before her 75th birthday. Born on June 24, 1946 in Chicago. She was the 6th child in the blended family of Luther Kleidon and Johanna (nee Gardner). Teresa is survived by her son Brian Gardner Burke. Her siblings include the late Carol (late Joe) Piotrowski, Robert (late Kathy) Kleidon, James Kleidon, Joanne (Mohamed) Kleidon- Ahmed, Nancy (late Tom) Parker, Louis (Jan) Kleidon, William(Janet) Kleidon, Sue (Tom) Johnson and the late Tom (Yvonne) Kleidon. Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Debbie, Charlene, Dawn, Cindy, Joe, Robert, Colleen, Jimmy, Sandi ,Donna, Kelly, Deanna, Derek, and Rebecca. She was preceded in death by her great nieces Sheryl Piotrowski, Michelle Kleidon and Olivia Taylor. Teresa graduated from Morton West and received her accounting degree from DePaul University. Besides being an accountant for over 40 years she was an avid painter who exhibited in many local venues. She was a generous person who contributed to charities that were close to her heart. She also enjoyed going to the local casinos and occasionally she won. Services will be held privately. The family will have a memorial at a later date.
