The memories of Steve are strong and vibrant. The pride Steve took in being a great husband and father will never fade. It is what we will remember most. I will also remember taking Steve to the ER in Highland Park and driving him home after yet another Lacrosse injury. I felt so bad bringing Steve home to his parents with a cast on his wrist. It is amazing the times and memories that occur. Best wishes Beth and Mucci Family.

To the Family of Steve Mucci -
I was saddened to learn of Steve's passing earlier today. As a Ripon College classmate, I too, remember Steve's gentle manner and quiet way. I also remember him as a Theta Chi and active in lacrosse at Ripon.
He obviously was well-loved and was very successful in what he did. To all of his family, his wife, Beth, and his children, you have my sincere sympathy at his loss. He will be missed.
With much sympathy,
Alexander Swintek, Silver Team

Dear Beth, Kids and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy, sincerest condolences and prayers for your terrible loss. Like so many people I am sure, I was shocked to learn of Steve's death. Art Peters was so kind to reach out to me and let me know tonight about your beloved husband, father and family member. Steve, "Muce" to me and so many was one of the most positive and friendly people I was fortunate enough to ever meet. Our times together at Ripon were the best but much too short. Although it has been a while since I last saw Muce I could always be certain that the next meeting would be like we had never been apart. I am saddened that I won't have that chance again. He was always first with a smile and followed it with a slap on the back. I can see why Muce was so successful in business, in coaching and teaching our youth, in staying active, especially with his skiing (Phuelly, I bet he was kicking your butt all over the water...) and most importantly I can only imagine what a great husband and father he has been. It was his passion for life that made him special. We can all learn something from Muce. Live life to the fullest every day. I am sure he did. I feel honored to have known Muce and call him a friend. I will miss Muce, we all will. He deserves a major, major Peeb!!!
God Bless you all.

I was very sad to learn of Steve's untimely death. We were best friends back in grade school. I will always remember one day in Steve's garage where I taught him the art of boxing by repeatedly smashing by face into his gloves...he really kicked my butt, but we laughed together when it was over.
My condolences to his entire family.

I was very sad to read about Steve in the Tribune yesterday. He was a great guy who was always smiling and in his quiet way had the respect and admiration of many at Ripon. Our condolescences to his family and friends.

As I look back I find myself wondering .....
Did I remember to thank you enough...
For being kind everytime I visited.
For being funny
For sharing a conversation & taking interest in what I have said.
For telling me I have a great son...
or for just being an awesome uncle!
Well I am thanking you now.
And I am hoping you knew it all along
...just how much you meant to me.
You will be missed Uncle Steve.
Love Gina & family
