Stanley Schmidt Obituary

Stanley E. Schmidt, 67, of Elmhurst. Born April 3, 1944 in New Orleans, LA and died in Chicago on October 29, 2011. Dear son of the late Ervin H. and Clara B. Schmidt; brother of Thomas (Kathryn) Schmidt; uncle of Margaret Schmidt. As a Luthier, Stanley worked doing restoration and tonal adjustments of classical instruments. For many years Stanley worked as a part time Reference Librarian at DePaul and Northeastern Illinois Universities in Chicago. Memorial Services at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 5, 2011. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials will be appreciated for the DePaul University, Office of Advancement, 1 E.
