Rosalie Mitchell Obituary

Rosalie Mitchell, 76, of Harrisburg, IL and former resident of Cicero, IL, died 12:18 p.m. Tuesday September 2, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL.Graveside services were held 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 4, 2008 at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Harl Cockrum officiating. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills was in charge of the arrangements. She was born July 18, 1932 in Brushy Township to the late Steve and Mary (Williams) Toth. She was a member of Liberty Church near Harco and Carrier Mills American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Bob Mitchell, of 55 years; four sons Rick (Valeria) Mitchell of Carrier Mills, Steve (Brenda) Mitchell of Harrisburg, Michael (Lisa) Mitchell and Tom Mitchell of Bowling Green, KY; three daughters, Rhonda (Jr) Bustamante of Cicero, Regina Mitchell of Harrisburg and Marylie (Matt) Jeralds of New Burnside;two sisters, Betty (Mel) Taasaasa of Bloomingdale and Shelba (Pat) Santilli of Florida. She had 21 grandchildren and 33 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Toth; a brother, John Toth; and a granddaughter Heather Mitchell.

grandma,
i'm so proud to say you were not only my grndma, but also my best friend.
i miss you so much i can't even explain it.
there's hard time where i wish you were here to help me through.
but i know i'll be with you someday and everything will be fine, and that keeps me going long enough.
i often look back and smile at all the memories we made.
and i hope you know just how much you mean to me because i could have never explained it in words.
rest in peace grandma. i'll see yo later :)
