Robin McHugh Obituary

Robin S. McHugh, age 57, a resident of Downers Grove for more than 30 years passed away. Beloved wife of John McHugh; loving mother of Jennifer (Keith) Kusreau, Colleen Hagen, and Sean McHugh; cherished grandmother of Molly, Andrew, Kyler, and Koleson Kusreau; loving daughter of Marion (the late Robert) Schlesinger; dear sister of Sandra (John) Brix and Keith (Nancy) Schlesinger. She was a devoted kindergarten teacher with a passion for inspiring young, eager minds. In addition to the people in her life, Robin also loved her flowers and gardening, sitting on the beach, Sudoku puzzles, reading books and playing cards with her bridge buddies. More than anything else, Robin enjoyed playing on the floor with her two little grandsons, Kyler and Koleson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 20, at 11 a.m. at the Christian Church of Clarendon Hills, 5750 Holmes Ave., Clarendon Hills, IL 60514. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Suite 100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 would be appreciated.
