Robert O'Connor Obituary

Robert O'Connor. Bob fought the good fight; kept the faith; finished the race; and the crown of righteousness is his. He went to be with his Lord on November 16, 2009. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his daughters Megan and Katie (Ben) Kuehl; his parents, Robert E. Sr. and Mary O'Connor; his siblings Michael (Joan) O'Connor and Mary (Jeff) Scofield; his mother in law Annette Henrikson; preceded in death by his father in law Jack Henrikson. Bob was loved by his many nieces nephews. Bob's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr Stadler and staff as well as Samsung Electronics for all of the support and care they received. Visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary 435 N. York Rd. Elmhurst on Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. Lying in state Friday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service 12:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church 142 E Third St. Elmhurst. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kidney Cancer Research Program at the University of Chicago Hospital, 117 E. 58th St., Chicago, IL, 60637.
