I met Bob in recent years and was amazed by his continuing passion for business and the aviation industry. He was a well respected supporter and advocate for our business, Facet, focussed on aviation filtration. Well known and connected and a real "salt of the earth" person; Bob will be missed. Condolences and sympathies,
Chris Conway,

Bob helped write the ATA-103, the airline fuel handling "bible", as well as the ASTM Manual 5 on quality control procedures. Along with being a good citizen of the aviation community, he was also a good distributor and friend. Bob, we'll miss you!

Bob Becker was a driving force behind the development and expansion of the Village Links of Glen Ellyn. He led the effort to add a third nine holes of golf. He helped create many of the programs and traditions that have been a major part of the Village Links for more than four decades. The Village Links would not be what it is today without his efforts. We were fortunate to have him and his family part of the golf course community for these many years. Condolences to his loved ones.

Bob, an aviation business colleague who became a good friend was always upbeat and enjoyed life fully. While my visiting the Chicago area he would go out of his way to make welcome having a delightful lunch or dinner together, whether for business or pleasure. One of the most respected and tenured men in his business, he will be remembered and missed by all.

It is often said that the true measure of a man is determined by how they live their life and the impact they make on others. Bob, you have certainly been a stellar example of this sentiment. Your integrity, loyalty, work ethic, and the emphasis on doing the right thing continues to be a model for all of us. I am honored to have been welcomed as part of the family many years ago. You will be greatly missed. Godspeed
