I still have that envelope with your father's writings in it. My email has changed since I last left a message. So if you would like me to send these things to you please contact me here:

This is a message to either of Dick's daughters, Sue or Linda. I have a large envelope in my possession that Dick sent to me, the contents of which I think you would like to have. It contains seven lovely poems that Dick wrote
and a long personal letter to my father that Dick was thoughtful enough to send me a copy of. Bart got the letter
just a month before he died in Van Nuys, California in 2004. If either of you send me an address that I can send
these things to I will do so post haste. It's right that you should have these things in your possession. Although I
am pretty sure that you have seen all these poems, who knows? Just to be on the safe side, and to honor the memory of your father, I am happy to send them on to you. I live in South Korea now with my Korean wife and have been living here since 2012.
My best wishes to you both, Linda and Sue. We didn't know each other very well, but we shared a lot through your father. He was certainly a giant of a man, never to be forgotten.

I grew up in the house across the street from Dick Hart. I live in South Korea now and so just learned of Dick's passing. I can honestly say that he was the finest person I have ever known. I kept in touch with him over the years by phone and appreciated his updating me about the old neighborhood. Dick helped so many people in our neighborhood over the years and we are all so very grateful for his loving kindness and readiness to help. I am so sorry that he is gone but I will never forget him. Thank you, Dick for all you did for me and for my family. The world is a poorer place without you.
I sure I can speak for all the folks on Shady Lane when I say we loved you.
