Phyllis I. Cardenas of LaGrange. Loving mother of Tommy Alan Thomason and Linda Diane Cardenas. Devoted grandmother of Arielle Dominguez, Tony Cardenas and Miles Thomason. Dear sister of Don Berlin and the late Diane Berlin. Ms. Cardenas was known for her green thumb and loved to grow and share her beautiful garden. She was an avid shopper and greatly enjoyed garage sales. She was also an avid television watcher and enjoyed “burning up the phone� with her friends and family. A memorial visitation will be held 1pm Sunday June 7th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home; 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, until time of memorial service 3pm. Interment is private.
