Paul W. Hogan, age 77; fondly called Padre by his children, beloved husband of 55 years to Marjorie Lucille Hogan, nee Fisher; loving father of Maureen E. (James) Shanahan, Paul W. (Diane) Hogan, Ann M. (Arto) Leviainen, Michelle C. Hogan, Joseph P. (Amanda) Hogan, and Jennifer (Dave) Catlett; Cherished grandfather and step-grandfather of Jamie Shanahan, Douglas Hanna, Breanna and Michael Shanahan, Emma Hogan, Cody and Colin Baker, Connor and Bryce Hogan, and Hannah Hogan Catlett, and Anthony, Ashley and Becca Catlett; and great-grandfather of Caitlyn and Henry; dear brother of Col. Thomas (Florence) Hogan, Mary Ann (James) Rozmajzl, James (Caroline) Hogan, Frances (Jack) Holland, Richard (Cindy) Hogan, and Elizabeth Duarte, and sister-in-laws, Mary Jo Hogan and Janice Hogan; fond uncle of over 40 nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ann Hogan; his brothers, John Hogan and Robert Hogan.
Visitation was held Friday, February 24th, 3:00PM to 9:00PM. Funeral was held Saturday, February 25th, 9:15AM from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main Street (1 blk. So. of Ogden Ave.) Downers Grove to St. Joseph Church. Mass 10:00AM. Paul's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron, Ohio. 630/968-1000 or www.adamswinterfieldsullivan.com
