Michael Danko Obituary

Mr. Michael A. Danko, 88, of Burbank, formerly a long time resident of Berwyn, passed away on June 23, 2009 at the Little Company of Mary Hospital. Visitation Thursday, June 25, from 2-9 p.m. at Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 West Cermak Rd., Berwyn where services will be held on Friday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Auburn Cemetery. Mr. Danko was a retired plumber from the City of Berwyn Water Department and Berwyn Western. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII from 1942-1945. He also loved to golf and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Danko is survived by his daughters, Michele Danko and Mary (Mitchell) Piznarski; sons, Steven (Vickie) and Joseph (Charlene) Danko; grandchildren, Danielle Baldwin, Amy, Abby, Adam, Aaron, Stephanie and Nicole Danko; and several nieces and nephews.
