My sister-in-law is finally at peace. She and I were both born pre-war in June 1940. In 1945, after the war ended we both entered kindergarten at Our Lady Help of Christians on the west side of Chicago. Neither of us could remember the other from school. Our relationship of almost 50 years began when she married my brother Dale. Maryellen was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her legacy is her delightful family

Sincere condolences to Dale, Karen and Michael and all the family members! Maryellen was a force at Holy Trinity for many years. She had seeming endless energy and resourcefulness. She had a boundless "can do" attitude! I will never forget the kindness she showed my children as their preschool aide. She has to be enjoying the unconditional, all encompassing love of our Lord! My guess is that she is stirring up a party :-) Hugs to all of you
