Mary Sosulski Obituary

Mary Regina "Gina" Sosulski, age 74, of West Chicago, passed away May 3, 2008 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born on April 7, 1934 in Rochester, NY to Howard and Agnes Stauffer. Gina taught for 30 years at College of DuPage. She was a former member of St. Mary's parish in West Chicago and present member and lector of St. John the Baptist parish in Winfield. She also was involved in P.A.D.S., West Chicago Friends of the Library, and bible study. Gina enjoyed playing pinochle and was an avid reader. Gina is survived by four children, Michael J. Sosulski (Fiancee Claudia Wagner) of Kalamazoo, MI, Marya Sosulski (David Finet) of Mason, MI, Carla (Carlos) Talbott of Stockbridge, GA, and John (Rebecca) Sosulski of West Chicago, three grandchildren Peter Sosulski, Nicholas Sosulski and Loren Talbott. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Sosulski in 1994, brother Joseph Stauffer and sister Anne Marie Stauffer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 4 to 8 pm at Norris-Walen Funeral Home (Ronald T. Segert-Director) 132 Fremont St.(one block north of Washington St. and Main St.), West Chicago. Prayers will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the funeral home and proceed to St. John the Baptist church for a 10 am Mass. Interment private. 630-231-0060
