Mario Faldani, age 91, of Burr Ridge, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024. Born in Chicago to the late Emilio and Mary Josephina Faldani (nee Zordanazzo). Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Mahoney); loving father of Thomas (Victoria) and Patricia; cherished grandfather of Makaela; fond brother of Gina (Bill Hess), Mary (Jim Burke), and Lena (Maurice Curtin). Brother-in-law to Patrick Mahoney (Marie) and Thomas Mahoney (Sheila). Uncle to many nieces and nephews and Great Uncle to more. Avid fan of all cars before computers, Sinatra, and all classic jazz. Great tinkerer with the tools to fix any problem for family or friend. A gentle soul with quiet humor; an all-around good guy.
Visitation 5 to 8pm on Thursday, February 8th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Visitation to continue from 8:30am until 9:15am on Friday, February 9th. 10am Funeral Mass to follow at St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. Private interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association are greatly appreciated.
