Margaret Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, Margaret Bennett-- 86, formerly of Saratoga, California died at her daughter's home in Lebanon, Missouri on February 8, 2002. Mrs. Williams had been in poor health and moved from her home in Fresno, California in July to live with her daughter.
She was born on May 12, 1915 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles Malcolm Bennett and Edith (Harris) Bennett, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Lee Williams, her son Barry Bennett Williams, and her youngest daughter Janet Alanson McCloy.
When she was 12, her family moved to San Jose, CA and on December 18, 1936 she was married in Grace Cathedral to William Ring Ross. To that marriage were born her daughters, Barbara and Janet.
On October 5, 1946 she married Robert Lee Williams, and to that marriage was born her son, Barry Bennett Williams.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, and after the death of Mr. Williams she worked many years for the Saratoga Union School District as a library clerk. She was a longtime member of the Saratoga Federated Church in Saratoga.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Marvin Jensen of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Barbara Bennett Rufus, of Fresno, California; her grandchildren Lorna Pusateri of Milpitas, Carla Pusateri of Corvallis, Oregon, and Matthew Robert Pusateri; a niece, Patricia Rufus Searles of Raymond, California.
A Memorial Service for Margaret Williams will be held at the Oakland Heritage Church of God in Lebanon, Missouri on Thursday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m.
