Lois K. (Kirkaldy) Reilly
Lois K. (Kirkaldy) Reilly, age 93 yrs passed away in San Antonio, Texas on May 2, 2022. She was born in Chicago and was the only child of Ruth and James Kirkaldy. She was a creative child who loved to dance and dress up. She focused her energy on dance as a teen, becoming good enough to be invited to join a prestigious dance company. Sadly, the loss of her father at 16 ended her dance pursuits. She joined her mother in operating a restaurant business called The Frosty Lane in Palatine Illinois. She met Dennis Richard Reilly in1952 and was married 4 years later, May 12, 1956. They were loving parents of two adopted children, James William (1961) and Ruth Ann (1963), and their biological daughter, Mary in (1967). They were married for 44 years and the family lived in Glen Ellyn for much of their life together. Lois is survived by her daughters, Ruth Ann Porter of Alpine, Utah, and Mary Reilly-Magee of San Antonio Texas; Grand Children to Josclyn Wolf, Mitchell Wolf, Reilly Magee, Donovan Magee, James Reilly, Lilia Porter, and 5 Great Grand Children, Jenevieve (Evie)Wolf, Frances (Frankie) Leach, Landon Wolf, Leah Wolf & Cullen Wolf. Daughter of Ruth Sachse Kirkaldy and James Kirkaldy. Interment was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood Illinois.
